Home Office, 1 becomes 2 or more...

Following the comment at the weekend by ex minister Rt Hon Charles Clarke that the Home Office should be kept I thought I'd run a straw poll back home. Turnout so far has been as expected on a small site, and leads one to concliude that most of the populace don't care whether the structure of Justice is staffed by White cats or black cats so long as it catches the mice (to paraphrase Deng Xaio Peng).

However I'd urge people to look at the argument re English Devolution for Justice and Home Affairs as a counter balance for getting parity with Scotland and maintaining the Union by the consent of 5/6 of the population not being unfairly treated regardless of colour and creed but by their Royal Mail Postcode being prefixed by the word ENGLAND.

Croeso / welcome to the new blog

Tory Talk 1 was an attempt by me (on Blogger) in the run up and after the 2005 election to create a blog and seek funding for a phb forum for Tory members to debate the direction of the party. I am the guy who at the May 2005 Dockland rally inverted my Vote Conservative sign when Michael Howard walked in at teh back of the Hall.It was a silent protest that I thought the manifesto we were standing on at that election was harsh and right wing. I learnt that particular tactic when reading books in the Aberystwyth Uni History section and doing my Gold DEA criminology and Legal Process skill section. It stems from the notion that an activist who cannot in conscience support their parties manifesto but is still loyal to it or its principles amnd thus cannot in conscience join the other lot ( or lots in the current psephological climate). It basically says vote abstain. So if I've pissed off the Tory hierachy, or D Cameron on that partic point well sorry.

Since then the domain name is under a Google search, the purview of the Financial times, so hence the rename by me as a sequel as I could never affford to buty it back off them (lol)

In the intervening period Tony Blair has faltered and I've been posting on local forums Hillingdonchat.com and Abercf.blogspot.com while a member there under my first name James.
I've sought standing as a member for Council in Hillingdon and published on Hillingdonchat.com a manifesto for London Mayor

Basically I'm a brat from the 'burbs born in Hammersmith (according to my birth certificate, my memory of the event is somewhat sketchy for obvious reasons) and living in Eastcote as a child. Welcome to my centre right view on the world.
